GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

British Railways 2-10-0 Standard Class 9F No 92242 heads south at the head of an empty mineral train on 20th April 1965. Built at Crewe works in October 1958, No 92242 remained in service for just a few years being withdrawn in June 1965 from 86E Severn Tunnel Junction shed to be scrapped by J Cashmores of Newport.
