Henley in Arden - New Station: gwrha461

Ex-GWR 4-6-0 Hall class No 6947 'Helmingham Hall' is seen passing through the station on a down West of England express service. Built at Swindon in December 1942 as a member of the 49xx class, No 6947 continued in service until it withdrawn from Oxford shed in November 1965 before being scrapped by J Cashmore of Great Bridge in April 1966.
