GWR Route: North Warwickshire Line

Grimes Hill & Wythall Platform: gwrgh2917

Looking northwards from Norton Lane bridge towards Birmingham on a sunny day sometime in the late 1950s. All the building visible in this image appear to be in a good state of repair. The up platform has three bench seats whilst the down platform had just the one. This would have been indicative of the amount of traffic going to Birmingham compared to that going south to Henley in Arden and Stratford upon Avon.
