Danzey for Tanworth Station: gwrdt2836

An elevated view of the original station building formed by utilising prefabricated modular units of corrugated asbestos cement (Eternit) cladding on a timber frame. Geoff states that when took this photograph in the mid-1960s the whole building was painted cream. Although showing some signs of neglect the station has its running in board (station name sign) and other posters in evidence indicating that it was probably still a manned halt.
