Birmingham Snow Hill - British Railways Period Locomotives: gwrbsh2566

British Railways Standard Class 7MT 4-6-2 No 'Rising Star' passes through Snow Hill station on an up freight service on 22nd February 1964. Built by Crewe works in October 1952, No 70027 was a member of the Britannia class and was to remain in service until June 1967 when it was withdrawn from 12A Kingmoor shed in Carlisle to be scrapped by the Motherwell Machinery & Scrap Company.
