British Railways built Large Prairie No 4178 is seen running bunker first on the down through road to Hockley to take forward a Class J empty mineral wagon working on 23rd October 1963. Built at Swindon works to Lot 369 in November 1949 No 4178 remained in service until October 1965 when it was withdrawn from Oxley shed in Wolverhampton to be scrapped during April 1966 by Birds of Long Marston.
