Birmingham Snow Hill - British Railways Period Locomotives: gwrbsh1270

Ex-GWR 4-6-0 Grange class No 6844 'Penhydd Grange' is seen approaching Snow Hill on the up through road at the head of a Class C vacuum fitted freight service on 23rd October 1963. Built at Swindon works to Lot 308 in October 1937 No 6844 was to remain in service until April 1964 when it was withdrawn from Llanelly shed to be scrapped during September 1964 by G Cohen of Kettering.
