Birmingham Snow Hill - British Railways Period Locomotives: gwrbsh1256

Ex-GWR 4-6-0 Grange class No 6861 'Crynant Grange' is seen passing through Snow Hill on the up through line at the head of a freight train in May 1961. Built at Swindon works to Lot 308 in February 1939 No 6861 was to remain in service until October 1965 when it was withdrawn from Tyseley shed to be scrapped during March 1966 by G Cohen of Kettering.
