Stratford on Avon Racecourse Platform can be seen under the former SMJ bridge on the line to Broom as LMS 0-6-0 4F No 44043 is about to cross over the GWR's route to the West of England on 11th June 1957. Built as LMS No 4043 at Derby works in February 1925 No 44043 remained in service until June 1965 when it was withdrawn from 16E Kirkby-in-Ashfield shed to be scrapped in October 1965 by J Cashmore of Great Bridge.
